SEPTEMBER MEETING-BOARD OF ASSESSMENT APPEALS

MOTOR VEHICLE 2017 GRAND LIST ASSESSMENT

ALL OWNERS OF MOTOR VEHICELS IN THE TOWN OF WINCHESTER ARE HEREBY WARNED THAT THE BOARD OF ASSESSMENT APPEALS WILL MEET IN OPEN SESSION AT THE TOWN HALL ON MONDAY,  SEPTEMBER 24, 2018 FROM 5:00 PM-7:00PM, SECOND FLOOR ASSESSOR'S OFFICE 

For the sole purpose of hearing appeals related to the assessment of motor vehicles.  All persons claiming to be aggreved by the doings of the Assessor with regard to their motor vehicle assessment on the Grand List of October 1, 2017 are hereby warned to make their appeals at this meeting.  Appeal forms can be obtained from the office or on the Town of Winchester's website.  Hearings will be scheduled between 5:00PM and 7:00PM, Monday, September 24, 2018.  Completed forms must accompany the appellant.  No appointment is necessary. 

Copies of documents or other material pertaining to each appeal should be submitted with the application.  The Board is not required to schedule hearings for applications that are not complete or have not been filed in writing before the hearing.
