The Town Clerk and Town Registrars are reminding voters that the State Election is scheduled for Tuesday, November 8, 2022. On the ballot are the following races: Governor and Lieutenant Governor, United States Senator, Representative in Congress, State Senator, State Representative, Secretary of the State, Treasurer, Comptroller, Attorney General, Judge of Probate, and Registrar of Voters. Additionally, the following question is also on this year's ballot: Shall the Constitution of the State be amended to permit the General Assembly to provide for early voting?
Please note that the polling place is located at Pearson Middle School, 2 Wetmore Avenue, Winsted, Connecticut. Polls will be open 6AM through 8PM.
The Town Clerk advises that absentee ballots are available in the Town Clerk’s Office. Absentee Ballots may be deposited into the white dropbox in front of Town Hall at any time, up until 8PM on Election Day. Absentee ballots will be counted at the polls on Election Day.
