Board of Selectmen Held Special Meeting on Wallens Hill Development
July 1, 2026, WINCHESTER, CT — The Winchester Board of Selectmen held a special meeting on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at 6pm EST at Town Hall to continue discussions regarding the development of the Wallens Hill property.
The meeting began with a presentation from the Town Manager, who provided an overview of the project's background, the solicitation and proposal process, the independent review of submissions, and the anticipated next steps in the redevelopment process.
Following the Town Manager's presentation, the Board heard separate presentations from two development teams that submitted proposals: Stoneleaf Construction and Garamil Construction Group. Each team presented its vision for the future development of the Wallens Hill property and answered questions from the Board of Selectmen.
