The Town of Winchester and Northwestern Connecticut Community College are excited to bring you the Spring 2023 Pre-Manufacturing Program.
This six week program starting Monday, May 15th, and ending Thursday, June 22nd, offers modules in
Measurement, Workplace Safety, Basic Benchwork, Introduction to Blueprint Reading, Manufacturing Concepts, and Manufacturing Math.
It also includes wrap around services such as on-site tours of local manufacturers, resume building sessions, direct access to employers following program graduation, and access to free mental health services. All intended to provide anyone interested in entering or re-entering the work force with the support systems we all need in order to succeed and move forward in our lives.
The program is absolutely free to local area residents. But there is limited space, so start the registration process now by reaching out to Laura McCarthy, NCCC's Director of Student Success, at:
