Solitude Lake Management has announced that Highland Lake will be treated with the pesticide, "Reward", on Monday, June 26, 2017 at 10:00AM, operating under CT DEEP Permit #AQUA-2017-233. Solitude Lake Management has advised that residents should refrain from using water for the following purposes until the date noted:
- Drinking and Cooking - Do Not Use until June 30, 2017
- Boating and Fishing - Do Not Use until June 26, 2017
- Swimming - Do Not Use until June 27, 2017
- Watering of Livestock - Do Not Use until June 28, 2017
- Irrigation - Do Not Use until July 2, 2017
