Milling and Resurfacing of Route 263 (Winchester Road) Scheduled to Begin June 5th

The Connecticut Department of Transportation has announced that a milling and resurfacing project will occur on Rt. 263 (Winchester Rd.) in Winchester, beginning, Monday, June 5, 2017 and continuing through to Friday, June 16, 2017.  The project consists of milling and resurfacing a 1.88 mile segment of Winchester Road.

Regarding Closure Information, please be advised that motorists can expect lane closures on Route 263 (Winchester Road) between Route 44 (Main Street) and 1/10th mile north of Sucker Brook Road.   Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be used to guide motorists through the work zone.  Work in this area is scheduled to occur from 7:00AM to 5:00PM during the regular work week of Monday through Friday.
