Please be advised that Eversource and the Connecticut State Department of Transportation (CT DOT) will begin roadway restoration work on Main Street starting Sunday, May 31 through Saturday, June 6.
Work will take place nightly from 6:00 PM to 5:00 AM. During these hours, the westbound lanes of Main Street will be closed for milling and paving operations. This work is being completed to restore Main Street to new condition following the recent gas main project.
A parking ban will be in effect in the affected work zones during overnight operations to allow crews to safely and efficiently complete the project. Vehicles left in restricted areas may be subject to towing.
We ask all residents, businesses, and visitors to plan accordingly and use caution when traveling through the area. Detours and traffic control personnel will be in place as needed.
