Publication of Town Manager’s Proposed FY 2027 Budget Documents


April 7, 2026, WINCHESTER, CT - Town Manager Paul Harrington held the second of two public hearings on the budget as required by the Town Charter on Monday, April 6, 2026, at 7:00pm EST in the Hicks Room of Winchester Town Hall. This hearing provided residents with the opportunity to hear directly from the Town Manager and ask questions regarding the proposed Fiscal Year 2027 budget. In conjunction with the hearing, the Office of the Town Manager has published the FY 2027 budget documents to the Town’s website, accessible at the links below. The budget summary details all individual line items that make up the town’s operating budget and the Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) project proposals. The PowerPoint presentation used during the April 6 public hearing is also available for review. 

Board of Selectmen Budget Workshops are scheduled for Monday, April 13 and Wednesday, April 17. Each meeting will be held at 7:00pm EST in the Hicks Room of Winchester Town Hall. Residents are strongly encouraged to directly review and engage with these documents and workshops for the most recent and accurate budget information.
