WATER MAINS CONTINUE TO BE FLUSHED IN WINSTED
ROUTINE MAINTENANCE-TROUGH THURSDAY
The Winsted Water Works will conduct a water main flushing program in sections of Winsted starting April 29th through the end of the week.
Today-Rowley St to State DOT (may affect prospect St and Willow St)
Wednesday overnight flushing begins-10pm-6 Am
Beginning in the area of 596 Main St to 314 Main St and ending at area of 95 Main At
II will continue on Thursday overnight at 10 pm-6 am
Beginning at S Main St to Stop and Shop
The purpose of the water main flushing is for routine maintenance.
Water main flushing will take place between the hours of 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Low pressure and discolored water is to be expected during flushing. We recommend you refrain from washing clothes during this period. The discoloration of water will be temporary. If the condition persists, please contact the Water Department at 379-4101.
