WATER MAINS TO BE FLUSHED IN WINSTED
ROUTINE MAINTENANCE-OVERNIGHT FLUSHING-MAIN ST-BEGINNING AT HIGH TO-RT 44 to STOP & SHOP
The Winsted Water Works will continue the water main flushing program in sections of Winsted on Wednesday & Thursday April 1-2, 2026 weather permitting.
The areas to be flushed will be Main St-beginning at High St- route 44 to Stop Shop.
The purpose of the water main flushing is for routine maintenance.
Water main flushing will take place between 10:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m. Low pressure and discolored water is to be expected during flushing. We recommend you refrain from washing clothes during this period. The discoloration of water will be temporary. If the condition persists, please contact the Water Department at 379-4101.
