WATER MAINS TO BE FLUSHED IN WINSTED
ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
The Winsted Water Works will conduct a water main flushing program in sections of Winsted starting Thursday March 12, 2026, weather permitting.
The areas to be flushed will be Boyd St, Hubbard St, and John St and adjacent areas.
The purpose of the water main flushing is for routine maintenance.
Water main flushing will take place between 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Low pressure and discolored water is to be expected during flushing. We recommend you refrain from washing clothes during this period. The discoloration of water will be temporary. If the condition persists, please contact the Water Department at 379-4101.
