Dayton Construction Company will be starting work on Whiting St reconstruction. Because of this work, there will be traffic disruptions from Thursday 10/13 to Friday October 21st. Work will begin at the intersection with S. Main St (Rte. 44) and Strong Terrace.
We expect that one-way alternating traffic will be possible during the proposed construction during the day (7 AM to 5 PM); however, the Road may temporarily be closed to through traffic during construction activities. if at all possible, you should schedule deliveries and other traffic to use alternate routes or times during this period if possible. The road will be opened to traffic outside of working hours.
We appreciate your cooperation during these improvements and efforts to improve the road and sidewalks on Whiting St. Additional activities will be scheduled beyond October 21st. We will provide updates of the work schedule as we learn them from the Contractor.
