Highland Lake Watershed Association conducts regular sampling to ensure the quality of the Water within Highland Lake. These reports evaluate the following:
- Clarity,
- Nutrients (nitrogen and phosphorous)
- Oxygen,
- Bacteria
Reporting Concerns
Residents should report:
- Bacterial/algal blooms
- Erosion
- Dumping
- Septic issues
- Excessive runoff
- Invasive species sightings
